The folks at 3CworldDirect were kind enough to provide me with these Multifunction Kitchen Shears (color: red and grey) in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
I've had these kitchen shears in use for over two months and they're the best pair we've owned. I will say that all the pairs we own are so old we don't remember when or where we bought them and none are half as fancy as these are (so I guess we could be easier to please than most in this arena).
We haven't had reason to test all 7 functions but they arrived as described and function well for our purposes. They're sharp and work well for cutting foods, which is how we use them.
We already own nut crackers, a screw driver, and vegetable peelers; we don't drink to need the bottle opener and haven't scaled fish in a long time. I will say though, that the fact that these separate one side from another, makes them excellent for while prepping foods. It also makes them super easy to clean, without place for left behind build-up.
I think the next best feature is the magnetic case! We own so many pairs of kitchen shears but having one good pair that's always easy to find, within reach, and not taking up drawer space, is a definite bonus.
The box these came in was slightly dented but the shears were in perfect shape. I'd say these would make an excellent gift for newlyweds, fishermen, or young people without many tools yet. The box would be good for gifting if better protected than mine was upon delivery.
I'll update this review should my opinion on these change but no rust or other issues as of yet. I'd recommend them without hesitation. Uploading some photos so you can get a closer look. Smile. Buy with confidence. Hope this is helpful!
