The kind folks at Angvns provided me with this sleeveless dress (size: Large, color: Blue) in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
First off, this is a gorgeous dress, as pictured, and it looks as great on, as it does online. The fit is very flattering on a curvy figure.
For reference, I ordered according to the sizing information in the product description. I'm 5'2" and typically wear a size 6, 32-34C bust, 29" waist, and am pear shaped with 38" hips.
I'd recommend ordering your size based on the product description (for me, that's a size larger than my normal size). With that, the fit is right on and because of the bit of stretch, it's forgiving and looks tailored to a custom fit.
Love the elegant neckline and the slim waistline is flattering in front and back. The zipper is well hidden and pulls smoothly and easily. No need to wear a specific type of bra or a slip, it's not lined but the fabric is modest. This is an easy outfit.
The length falls below the knees, making this perfect for church or work. The material is stretchy and comfortable and the design down the front draws the eye to an hourglass shape.
The fabric is of a nice weight. It's thick enough to not be see through and thin enough to not make me too warm. Love that it's light enough to wear through Spring and Summer but could be worn in all seasons.
I've had it for three months and it's holding up beautifully, after I singed a few loose seams. I had a hard time not rating this 5 stars because I truly love this dress but I had to trim a piece of excess fabric at the bottom of the shirring along the front.
I machine washed it in warm water before wearing it and hung dry. Didn't experience any shrinking, fading or pilling. Used a lingerie wash bag to protect it and prevent snagging anything else on it's zipper.
I think for the current price of under $28, this is a good value. It's perfect for office to evening wear. Hang drying, it comes out completely wrinkle free, so nice.
Uploading some photos so you can get a closer look at it upon arrival and see what I mean. Everything I own in this brand has been well made so this isn't common to my experience. A gorgeous dress, nonetheless. Smile. Hope this is helpful!
