My Heating Pad- Multi Purpose Hot & Cold Therapy Pack - Sore Muscles Relief (Purple)

I've suffered from back problems since I was a teenager and when you can't get to a chiropractor or massage therapist, it's important to have some good tools to help cope with pain at home. I used to take a hot shower or bath for heat and then use ice packs for cold therapy...
When you're exhausted and in pain, you don't always have energy for all of that. Around this time last year I read that I could use rice. Silly as it sounds, I filled a clean sock with some rice, tied a knot at the end, and microwaved it for a hot pack. So, I knew prior to ordering this that it would work.
This heat pad is awesome. Aside from it's length, which is ideal, the handles make it perfect to easily guide while dealing with pain. The rice is evenly distributed because it is divided into sections and sewn accordingly (unlike my sock, haha), making for a nice hot pack from end to end.
The material is soft and it folds small for storage. If you wanted to add a few drops of essential oil, like lavender for calming, you can do that. It doesn't arrive with any chemical smells and doesn't smell like cooked rice when heated.
As listed, this can also be used cool. We microwave this and follow 20 minutes of heat therapy, with 20 minutes of cold therapy, using cold packs that are ready in our mini-fridge.
We've had this product in use for two months and would recommend it without hesitation. Another product I love and recommend to others dealing with pain is, Biofreeze Pain Relief Spray, 16 Ounce Bottle with Pump, Colorless Formula, Pain Reliever
