this Hippih Twin Bell Silent Quartz Alarm Clock (size: 4 inch, color:
botanicals) in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
This clock arrived as pictured and described and is indeed a very loud twin bell alarm clock. We have been using it in our living room, over the fireplace (although it is a bit small on our wide mantel).
This product is made in China. It keeps time perfectly and we love the vintage look and bronze coloring. It arrived in a box sufficient for gift giving and appears to be well made. You need a single AA battery to operate it (not included).
My reason for rating it four stars rather than five is primarily because of the alarm and the nightlight...
If you want to set the alarm for 7 AM and it's currently 5 PM, it'll be going off at 7 PM. So you have to set it within 12 hours of needing it to go off
The nightlight is for seeing or setting the time in the dark. You have to hold a button down on the back for it to stay lit and it is a small amount of light on the side by the 9.
We've had this clock in use for almost four months and it's holding up nicely for our use. I think it's an excellent value for currently under $16 as I've seen similar clocks selling for far more.
I'd rate it 5 stars for the look, ability to keep time, and the price (which can always change). I'd rate it 3 stars as an alarm clock so I'm rating it at 4 stars overall.
