The folks at Health Plus Prime were kind enough to provide me with this Advanced Sleep Solutions Pearl Gel Memory Foam Mattress, (size: Queen, 10") in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
My husband and I own a very heavy, pillow top memory foam mattress so I anticipated this to be pretty heavy. It arrived folded and rolled up, smaller than I'd imagined. The box with it inside weighed under 75 pounds so I was able to manage bringing it inside on my own.
It can be difficult trying to yank it out of the plastic that it was in. I used scissors to carefully cut it off lengthwise and that worked out nicely as I was able to then lay the mattress out on top of it.
You won't need to air it out, like other memory foam products which I've found usually stink. It was odor free and has a really pretty white fabric around it, zippered on.
The next day it looked the same to me, in size as it did within a few minutes of pulling it out of the box. It seemed to fully expand quite quickly. Any queen sheets should fit fine since this is only 10" thick.
The top two layers are designed to be breathable and cooling. Verses our regular memory foam bed, this does seem cooler. We've had this in our guest room and it's been especially nice on super hot nights.
The relief this brings, as your body sinks into it, is wonderful. It is firm and still super cushy and we both like it a lot. I'd recommend a good protector to help keep it clean and, at least every few months, it's a good idea to turn it lengthwise.
Having one of these is a treat worth the money and I think for it's current price, it's a good value. We've had ours for over three weeks and it's holding up nicely but I'll update my review down the road should that change.
My two favorite features of this product are that it's made in the USA and it doesn't sleep hot. Highly recommended. Uploading some photos so you can get a better look at it upon arrival and up close, after expansion. Smile. Hope this is helpful!
