The folks at Dline were kind enough to provide me with this white bookcase set in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
I wasn't initially sure about the look of this bookcase but liked how unique it looked. Upon assembling them, they're quirky look has continued to grow on me and I really like the feel of them.
They arrived in a large box and were wrapped especially well. Directions for assembly were pretty simple and my husband had it together pretty fast. What's awesome is you don't need any tools since the pieces simply snap together. Perfect for storing when not in use or when moving!
We've got the two pieces set-up in our guestroom but I've got them pictured here in our living room, where we set them up. They can be used together or separately.
I like that I can use them separately because we have a cadet wall heater in between the two halves. One is full of our granddaughter's books and toys and the other with our own items. The height and size are perfect for a child's room or below a window.
The pieces are thicker than expected and almost looks like it would feel like foam. It's light but heavy enough to be sturdy with or without anything on it. It has a modern appeal and looks great in front of an accent wall since the back and sides are broken up as pictured.
I like how the white pops but I think you could easily paint them to match your decor if you wanted to. I've only had these for a little over two weeks so I can't speak yet to how they hold up in terms of clean-up and what not but will update my review should problems arise. I don't usually review items without testing them out for longer but love these shelves and wanted to share.
I'm not sure if this is a style that will be around for a long time or not so if you like how different these are, I'd jump on getting the pair. They appear to be well made. Great deal at the current price for the set. Uploading some photos so you can get a closer look. Smile. Hope this is helpful!
