The kind folks at Health Plus Prime provided me with this 2" topper (size: Queen) in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
Since we own a very heavy memory foam/ pillow top mattress I was anticipating this to be somewhat heavy and in a larger box. It arrived folded and rolled up, quite small.
At first, I had a hard time trying to yank it out of the somewhat tissue-like plastic/ fabric that it was in. Finally, I decided to use scissors to carefully cut it off lengthwise and that worked out nicely as I was able to then lay the product out on top of it.
I did this in our living room because I was anticipating the need to air it out for a couple days (while holding my nose because in my experience, it usually stinks). When my husband got home, he commented that it looked pretty puny.
The next morning when we came down stairs, I was refreshed there was surprisingly still no funky odor. My husband was in disbelief of how thick and large it had become after fully expanding.
We got this for our sofa bed in our guest room but it's so nice, we couldn't resist testing it on our own (that is already comfy). If you buy deep pocket sheets, they should still fit fine.
I'd recommend a good protector to help keep it clean and, at least every few months, it's a good idea to turn it lengthwise. Having one of these is a treat worth the money and I think for it's current price, it's a good value.
I do have to warn others... While the relief this brings, as your hips and everything sinks into it, is wonderful, this does not make it easier to get up in the morning! It feels like a heavenly cloud, that's the best way I can describe it, and snoozing will be painfully harder to resist.
Two of my favorite features of this product are that it's made in the USA and it doesn't sleep hot. Highly recommended.
We've had ours for a little over three weeks and it's holding up nicely but I'll update my review down the road should that change. Uploading some photos so you can get a closer look at it upon arrival and after expansion. Smile. Hope this is helpful!
