The kind folks at Kitckenhoney provided me with this pineapple corer in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...

First off, the product title needs to be changed because this is not a pineapple slicer. This only cores. That aside, it is sharp and works well for simplifying a messy job. Much faster than a knife alone.

Another we own works like a cork screw in that you turn as you go and it slices the pineapple into a slinky. This one you cut the top and bottom of the pineapple off and it removes the peel and core.

You can then slice or crush the pineapple as you wish. A nice time saver. We handwash ours to avoid dulling the blades in the dishwasher. If you want something that slices simultaneously, this isn't it.

It's sharp and mine arrived wrapped in bubble wrap, not cardboard (inside of a larger box with other orders), so be careful opening it. No instructions are included but it is simple to use.

It is stainless steel from end to end and feels quite sturdy. Recommended if you want a corer only. I would say it's a 5 star product if it wasn't listed wrong and arrived with better packaging (although these things can always change).

Uploading some photos so you can get a closer look and see what I mean. I have had one of the twisting types break on me before (it was stainless steel too) so I'm guessing this will be more reliable because it only does the coring. Smile. Hope this is helpful!
