Lazy Susan Spice Rack Organizer Tabletop Turntable 2 Tier Stainless Steel Metal Turning Table for Dining Table Kitchen Counters Cabinets - Smooth Ball Bearings - Beveled Edge by Perfect Life Ideas
The kind folks at Perfect Life Ideas provided me with this two tier lazy susan in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
I've purchased a few lazy susans in my time and so far this one is my favorite. I like the 10" size and that it's stainless steel. The ball bearing rotation turns smoothly and easily and it has a lip around the edges to keep items from falling off. It wipes up nicely and reflects light in the kitchen.
Lazy susans have many uses aside from being awesome for your spice cabinet. These also work well in the bathroom or kitchen cabinet under the sink, for small, hard to reach items, like nail polishes, or sponges and small cleaning items. They're great for small cups of craft items, crayons, or tools...
I used to sell appliances and another of my favorite uses is in the back of the refrigerator (especially models that are freezer on top so you have to bend to get into the back of the fridge or french door models that are especially deep and sometimes have less door shelves). These work great for jars and condiments if you have the space.
I like using it as a center piece on our island. Works great for salt and pepper, butter, napkins, hot sauce, and whatever you like to keep handy at the table. Easy access for anyone at the table to spin to get whatever they need.
I hope to one day own a lazy shoezan (lazy susan for shoes, haha) but until then, I'll continue to utilize these handy smaller versions around my home. One warning, when putting this together (which only requires screwing in the 3 posts between the 2 plates), be careful not to screw them in too tight.
Uploading some photos so you can get a closer look and see what I mean. I over-tightened the posts in and you can see slight bumps on the top plate because of it. No one has noticed it but me so just to note.
I included a photo of it in the fridge to give you an idea of it's size filled (although our fridge is counter depth, about 6 inches shallower than standard, so for us, it's not as valuable as it would be in a deeper fridge). Smile. Hope this is helpful!
