Namtso Refrigerator Water Filter Compatible with Whirlpool W10295370A KENMORE 469930 (White, 1 Pack)

The folks at SE-Purpose were kind enough to provide me with this Namtso Refrigerator Water Filter (Compatible with Whirlpool W10295370A KENMORE 469930, 1 pack, white) in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...

I ordered this for my mom's KitchenAid refrigerator (KSC24C8EYW, 24 cu' counter depth white side-by-side) which calls for a W10295370 filter.

I sold large home appliances (and accessories) between three retailers for over 11 years so I'm familiar with the brands. KitchenAid is like Whirlpool's Mercedes. (This family of brands all come out of the same factory and the integrity of the appliances are the same, while the KitchenAid has some higher-end features). Hence the two taking the same filters...

Many manufacturers make compatible filters and this Namtso version installs, fits, and operates just like the manufacturer one it replaces. This model is also listed to be designed for a 200 gallon capacity and NSF certified for quality and safety.

We buy water filters because they remove roughly 99.9% of lead, cysts, chlorine, and other toxins. I wouldn't say I'm super picky about my water (here in the Seattle area, the water is pretty good) but I can taste the difference between tap and filtered. This makes our water taste good.

We've had this installed at my mom's house for two months and it's still doing fine. If it doesn't last the recommended 200 gallons or six months (my mom lives alone and we are just down the street; hers usually last a bit longer), I'll be sure to update my review.

Excellent value for currently under $20. Recommended. Uploading some photos so you can get a closer look and see it next to the manufacturer's model. Smile. Hope this is helpful!
