SONGMICS 30 Gallon Pop Up Gardening Bag Spring Garden Leaf Waste Bucket UGPB30L
The folks at Wuppessen were kind enough to provide me with this Songmics 30 Gallon Pop Up Gardening Bag (Green UGPB30L) in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
This lawn bag is much nicer than we'd expected from the photos online. It's a heavier quality than we'd expect for toting some yard waste but it definitely works better than trying to hold up a Hefty lawn bag.
The tote when folded flat actually takes very little space to store. We've got it hanging in our garage from one of the handles; it's lightweight enough that I hung it from the garage door railing.
There is an insert included that warns of not using this for twigs and not dragging it on cement, to avoid damaging or tearing it. I think that would be wise but wouldn't be surprised if this could withstand both because it does feel pretty heavy duty.
It has strong handles on both sides of the top for carrying it from when full and another handle on the bottom for carrying it from when collapsed or for dumping it out when full.
There are pegs that link into elastic loops for keeping it flat when collapsed. When they are disconnected, it pops up on it's own and stands strong and (30 gallons) tall.
The material this is made of, is not like that of a thin tarp, as I had pictured it. It's a bit thicker and my husband was impressed with it too. It's not heavy unfilled but the quality is excellent.
For under $20, I think this is a good deal. Especially considering the space savings over a yard waste can or cost of buying disposable bags. Highly recommended.
No tares or signs of wear yet but I'll update this review if it doesn't last like I believe that it will. Uploading some photos so you can get a closer look at it and see what I mean. Smile. Hope this is helpful!
