The folks at Burei Watch were kind enough to provide me with this, BM-13002-01A Date Quartz Watch with Nylon Strap and Rose Gold Dial, in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
This is a handsome and bold watch, especially for the price! This piece has a large, easy to read face, making it perfect for my father. The case lies quite flat and provides for a very sleek look.
My favorite feature is the sapphire crystal lens. If you've ever scratched a mineral crystal lens (most commonly used in many watches and very easy to scratch), then you can appreciate a scratch resistant sapphire crystal.
This watch also includes a small calendar window. The case is listed to be stainless steel scratch-resistant and water-resistant to 30m. The fact that it is a signature Swiss-inspired precise operation gives me peace of mind that it's well made.
So far it's original shine and color is like new and the band has not faded. My dad has extremely sensitive skin and thankfully this has not caused him any irritation.
Details are beautifully made, as pictured, while larger than I'd expected (sizing is correct, the look is larger than expected). Definitely a statement piece! I managed a jewelry store years ago and of course still have an eye for jewelry.
This style band might not be for everyone but the band could of course be swapped out. The rose gold is beautiful and really makes for a very classy piece. The adjustment holes are many so it can be set to just your size.
The box it arrives in and included gift bag make for a really gorgeous gift. Also included was a tiny hair claw clip. No details were missing here!
We've had this in use for about two months now, without any problems. Would make a really nice inexpensive gift. Excellent value for the current price! My dad has a sister who lives in France and was touched to be able to show his support after the recent attacks in Paris.
I wouldn't have thought so prior to it's arrival but I think this watch is versatile enough to tastefully mix with other non matching pieces if so desired. It is surprisingly a quiet but bold watch.
