The folks at Vanberfia were kind enough to provide me with this dress (color: black/6232, size: Large) in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
For reference, I ordered according to the reviewers providing their sizing information (thank you!) not the product description. I'm 5'2", I typically wear a size 6, 32-34C bust, and am pear shaped with 38" hips. This dress is a homerun. The length falls just above the knees and it fits a bit loosely but just right in every area on me.
The material is super comfortable and soft. It's stretchy so I can comfortably pull it down a bit before sitting and have it cover my knees if I want to (without having to hold it down). I've had it for over two months and it's keeping it's shape nicely too. I've worn it to the park, out running errands, to school, and to church. Very versatile and you can change up the belt too if you want to.
The fabric is of a nice weight. It's thick enough to hang nicely and not be see through. It's light enough to wear through Spring and Summer. No need to wear a slip, it's not lined but the fabric is modest. Love an easy outfit!
I machine washed it before wearing, in cold water, as instructed, but hung dry. Didn't experience any shrinking, fading or pilling. I think this is fabric that will last for a long time. I washed it in a lingerie wash bag so that it wouldn't snag on other articles of clothing.
I think for the current price, this is a good value, and I'm not easy to please when it comes to dresses, haha. I wouldn't choose this for a formal event but it could easily be dressed up. Perfect for everyday wear.
Sexy while elegant and my husband loves it on me too. There are no belt loops and it looks good solo as well (but I love the belt with it too).
Overall, this dress is well made and has no loose seams. Holding up like new. It's thick enough to be warm when breezy but breathable when it's hot so a great choice for taking on a vacation.
