The folks at Angvns were kind enough to provide me with this dress (color: Black, size: Large) in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
First off, I've ordered a number of dresses from this seller and this brand and their fabrics tend to be forgiving. Based on the size info in the product description I was between a Medium and a Large but sized up because of my hips. If you're in the same boat as me, I'd suggest going with the smaller size.
For reference, I'm 5'2". I typically wear a US women's size 6. 32C bust, 29" waist, and am pear shaped with 38" hips. This is indeed stretchy through the hips and the upper body would be cute on me if I was a bit broader or bustier.
I just don't have the upper body width to fill it out which is unfortunate because it's a cute and versatile, all season dress. The waist and hips fit okay but the fabric is stretchy and forgiving, so it'd be more flattering all over I think if I'd sized down.
This product is made in China. The cut is professional and classy and although it's not lined, you definitely don't need a slip because the fabric is thick and modest. I also really like the length because I can wear it to church or anywhere, really.
This would look better on someone who is broader (or on me if I'd gotten a medium, smile). No worries on the armholes or sleeves being uncomfortable either, they've got room and again, it's stretchy. Very comfortable fabric and I'm guessing the fabric will last for years.
Unfortunately, not a keeper for me. My husband didn't like the color block style but I think if the fit was right and I paired it with a cute belt and pumps, he'd like it just fine.
Nice fabric that is flattering, conceals well, and there are no loose seams. Recommended but I'd say to go one size down from the product description sizing, if you want a better fit.
