Bastex - 180° Fish Eye Lens + Wide Angle Lens + Macro Angle Red Camera Lens Kit with Clip-On and Black Carrying Pouch for iPhone 6+/6/5c/5/4/3, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge/S6/S5/S4/S3, Note Edge/4/3/2/1, iPad/iPad Mini and Many More
The kind folks at Bastex provided me with this lens set in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
I'd rate these 3 stars for my specific phone and 5 stars for being well made. For reference, I have an HTC One M8 cell phone and when this is clipped on, it blocks the duo cam bringing up a pop-up on my phone in front of the photo viewer. I can still take a photo with it on but the vignette (in my opinion) takes away from the photo.
I had to take my slim case off for the clip to not cover more of the photo. Also, neither my husband or myself were able to unscrew the macro lens from the wide angle lens. My husband is a strong man, lol but we didn't want to break it trying.
The fish eye lens is fun and effective. The other didn't give much any effect at all, likely because it's the two stuck together. I will update this review should we get them apart. We did not try anything except for our hands to loosen them.
This set would make a nice gift for a teen, in my opinion, with a phone other than mine... I love taking photos but don't see this as something that I would use to increase my photos quality. It does however seem to be well made and the lenses are of good quality, again just not a good match with my phone.
I think 2 of our lenses being stuck together is not the norm, based on other reviews, so I didn't rate it down for that. They screw onto the clip easily and are of a good weight. The lens caps also seem to be of good quality. Once these lenses are clipped onto my cell, they didn't slide around.
Cute gift item but if given opportunity, I wouldn't buy this for myself. Uploading a couple photos of the set and one taken of my phone case through the fish eye lens. Smile. Hope this is helpful!
