The folks at xtf2015 were kind enough to provide me with this LED lantern in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
This little lantern arrived as pictured and described. It is smaller than we had pictured it but it is as listed. The pop-up feature makes it really neat for storing when traveling or camping and it's a bit of a conversation piece as well.
As others have stated, it is quite bright but won't light an area larger than a small room. Perfect for a lighting a tent or hanging up higher since it is so bright to have close to your eyes (the light is not diffused).
This product is made in China. It is listed to be water resistant although we haven't used it in rainy conditions yet. We've had this little lantern for a few months and it's still working like new.
It does not arrive with batteries so you'll need to pick some up. It takes x3 AA's. It arrives in a box suitable for gift giving and without any chemical smell.
