Bluetooth Handsfree Headphones, X-Live Wireless Bluetooth handsfree Car Kit Hands Free Headset with Mic (Microphone)and In Car Charging Dock Support/Noise Cancelling/A2DP/Voice reporting
The folks at X-Live were kind enough to provide me with this Bluetooth headset in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
This product is made in China. I really love this design and was super excited about it possibly replacing my Jawbone one that I had lost the ear loop to. Unfortunately this bluetooth is unusable for me. My main issue is that the person on the receiving end of my calls can't hear me.
It's not like I can hold it just right either, regardless of my efforts, even speaking quite loudly, the sound is just no good. I'm told it's too broken up and too distant. It's not my phone or connection because I've tried many times and calling back on my other bluetooth always fixes the issue.
That aside, the docking charger works fantasticly, clips onto my car air vent, and is an innovation that makes sense. When charging the bluetooth automatically goes into sleep mode but keeps you connected to answer calls when you're ready to.
As much as I want to love this product, I've had it in use for over two months and have given up trying to make it work. The sound is good on my end but useless if those I'm calling can't hear me.
If the sound issue is improved, I'd be back to buy this product but until then, I can't recommend it. The ear loops also weren't a great fit for my small ears. Uploading some photos so you can get a closer look. Smile. Hope this is helpful!
