The folks at BuyusDirect were kind enough to provide me with a set of these colored pencils in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
I am no artist but have a couple other sets of colored pencils from Amazon. These pencils are nice and write smoothly but aren't my first choice (they're also half the price of the others I've tried).
This product is made in China. I like the case, although it's just hard cardboard with a plastic lid, I like that it has a small footprint in the cupboard or bag and protects the pencils well.
I also like that the pencils are colored across the whole pencil, rather than just the tips. They do arrive presharpened. Each pencil is not individually numbered or labeled (outside of the color on it).
At the current price of under $12, I think these are a good value. I rated these 4 stars because I have to press a bit harder with these to get the same color effect of others.
I think these would make a nice inexpensive gift for anyone who likes to draw or color. Uploading some photos so you can get a closer look. Smile. Hope this is helpful!
