The folks at Pop-Tech were kind enough to provide me with this car phone mount (model: BC004) in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
I have owned another mount similar to this one that works great. Unfortunately, this one arrived broken. My husband tried to fix it but was unable. It seems the spring inside is broken because the part that grips your phone has zero resistance to hold anything in place.
I emailed the seller and they offered another model but I wasn't interested in that style and they didn't reply regarding another replacement. Because I received this in exchange for a review I'm sure my experience may vary from that of a paying customer.
It is a nice design and size and hopefully mine is just a lemon. Hopefully your experience is better than mine! Uploading some photos so you can get a closer look. Smile. Hope this is helpful!
