The folks at Komar were kind enough to provide me with this hair brush in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
This is my favorite hairbrush I've owned but it's not perfect (for me!). What makes it unique for me is the fact that it's not just another huge paddle brush. The paddle is actually curved to the round shape of your head so each brush stroke gives me roughly three times the coverage of what another brush it's size would cover. For me, having thick hair and lots of it, time is of the essence!
I also really like that there are gaps between the bristles and all the way through the brush. This makes it super easy and fast to clean with no padded areas to wear down or get dirty over time.
My only dissapointment was when I went to blowdry my hair with it and realized it didn't transfer heat as quickly or well as my round metal based brushes. I'm pretty sure that, since this doesn't get as hot, it's probably better for the health of my hair.
I've had this in use for over two months with no problems and it feels as sturdy as it did brand new. I don't doubt it's quality a bit! I'll update this review should anything change.
If it helped me blowdry my mane more quickly, like my brushes that get hot do, that would make it a five star hairbrush for me. Nonetheless, it's my favorite until I find that next best innovation in hair brushes. Smile.
