The only reason I rated these down a star is because I've owned thicker and in my opinion nicer shower hooks. They were also more expensive. These are great for the price!
The small metal beads along the tops of these make them glide smoothly across your curtain rod, similar to a ball bearing style drawer. They are not loose though to be noisy.
I've had these in use for a little over two months but can't speak to any rust issues since I've not been using them in a wet environment. I've been using them to hang things in my closet, like scarves and other light items. Super handy design for my use!
