The kind folks at US Technology US Store provided me with this 2400 mAh power bank in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
We own more a number of few power banks and this one is perfect for actually carrying. We have some that are nice to have around the house, charged and ready, in the event of a power outage (but are too heavy for us to want to carry).
This product is made in China and is delivered in a box that's good for gift giving. The charger's exterior feel is smooth to the touch and appears to be true to color as pictured online. It doesn't take long to charge up and fits nicely in my hand.
My husband and I both have HTC One M8 cell phones (2600 mAh each), these are not small batteries to charge. This powerbank does not provide me with a full charge (especially while using my phone) but it gives me enough charge when I'm out all day to not have my phone die on me.
I like to carry this (because it's smaller and lighter than others we own) in my purse (of course it does not provide as much charge though as heavier ones). My only reason for giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish it didn't have the large "shine" written across it. It is as advertised and described though.
Overall I am pleased with this charger. I've had it in use for over two months without any problems. I will be sure to update this review if my opinion of it changes after more time.
Based on my use thus far though, I would recommend it to others. For currently under $6, I'd say this is an excellent value! Uploading some photos so you can get a closer look and an idea of it's size. Smile. Hope this is helpful!
