The kind folks at Roybens provided me with this Pink iPhone 6 6s Case in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
I tested this case with my mom's iPhone 6 which snapped in with ease. Color arrived as pictured and it looks great! This item is not made of genuine leather but rather PU leather (which is polyurethane).
We're not usually big fans of faux leather, as it can sometimes look cheap. This is the exception! Look and feel are really nice and the bright color will make it easy to find in your purse.
Some components I was wanting in a phallet (phone~wallet, smile) for my mom's new phone, I wanted something that would allow for:
-A few cards, preferably 3 or more, for ID & medical card, debit card, and a credit card.
*Clear ID holder on this one is nice.
-Cash slot (bill length) for cash or receipts.
*This one has more than one full length slot, allowing for a few bills and receipts.
-Landscape view stand. (Vertical stand would've been nice but didn't see any like that without getting a kickstand case that loses all of the other features.)
-Magnetic closure for fast open and close.
-Attached strap, with clip style hardware, that is removable.
-Easy to snap phones in and out when needed (some other cases, I've read, actually break when trying to remove your phone or reviewers have damaged their phones when trying to get them out).
-Does not block any of the necessary ports for chargers, the camera, buttons, etc.
-Does not effect camera usage, create any halo effects in photos, reflect case color into flash or photos, etc.
2 things I'd hoped for but this does not provide:
-Case fully covers the phone's sides and comes slightly over the front edges, all the way around, to prevent damage on any/ all sides if dropped.
-Was also shopping for screen protector (some cases include one)
This phallet meets almost all of her needs! The main reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the case itself covers the back and sides but does not come over the front edges to protect it if dropped (while out of the phallet).
A note for the guys:
The thick wallet in back pocket often causes chiropractic issues after many years... Nerve damage even, for some. It's not generally noticeable until many years later for most men but avoidable by carrying a wallet in the front chest or pant pockets. A new habit can be difficult to start and keep, especially after so long, but nobody wants to sit on their phone, lol so this one is a given to get used to! Smile. Take off the strap since you might not need it to fish your phone out of a busy bag and simplify this case to your liking.
I have one like this and like to use this style case as my mini-purse! I attach my keys (smaller set of just car, house, and mail keys) to the strap's hardware clip (where it attaches to the phallet). Although I can quickly unclip my keys to drive, I detach my phone to put into my car's phone mount for GPS use (love the Waze app! lol), so I usually just drive with my keys still attached to the phallet (yes, they're that light!).
For fast errands, I leave my purse at home (or in my trunk before leaving home) and carry just the phallet. It's freeing to not have the weight of a purse when unnecessary. Keeps me light and hands free when needed, I just put it on my wrist. Nice bonus when I need to hold my grand daughter's hand and have the convenience of a purse on my wrist and a hand free for other things to carry.
In my actual purse, I keep a second set of keys to my parent's place, church, etc. When I need my whole purse, I throw my phallet in. No need to switch wallets when I switch purses! My business cards and loyalty type cards are in small card holders in my purse and car, for when I need them.
The only thing missing, for me, is a coin/ zipper pouch. Truly though, that'd make this a clutch, not a case, that even my husband can appreciate, lol. I also usually wear clothing or jackets with pockets for smaller needs anyway so no biggie.
We've had this phallet in use for over two months and the overall quality seems to be very solid. Without a doubt, we have no concerns of it falling apart with regular use. We figure by the time it shows any amount of wear, we'll most likely have new phones or want new designs due to newer technology/ features available.
Fantastic buy on a quality product. I think the best feature is that the case is attached to the phallet by magnet so if you want to take a photo without holding up the whole thing, you can. Plus this holds double the cards of most and includes the small mirror.
