The folks at Gada Hose were kind enough to provide me with this red 50 ft expandable garden hose in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
I had previously seen these types of hoses in stores and was reluctant to believe that something of this size could expand to, fill, and work properly at 50 feet. Pleasantly surprised! We've tested this out washing our vehicles and watering our lawn and it works well.
It came in a box suitable for gift giving and without any chemical smell. Everything was included as pictured and described. We own another style of these, here from Amazon and understand these require extra care but this one feels much less delicate.
It also empties more easily and quickly. The brass connectors are sturdy and solid. The provided trigger sprayer isn't as lightweight as the stock one we received with our other one either. A nicer quality item overall.
The hanger and microfiber towel are also nice added touches. The hanger does not feel super heavy duty but is sufficient for holding it's weight. The towel is very plush and soft, making it perfect for car washes or general lint-free cleaning.
After over two months of use, we still highly recommend this to others. It looks like it did when it was new and it conveniently fits into my two gallon wash bucket when not in use (kind of unbelievable how much smaller these are than a regular hose!).
I think for currently under $47, this is a good value. Both our neighbors and family members have commented on what an awesome hose this is. It looks as solid as it performs.
