The kind folks at Fancee Home provided me with this Hippih Silent Wall Clock (in Blue) in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
In the pictures online it looks a bit 'blurple', as a girlfriend of mine would say (blueish-purple), but upon arrival this is actually a lilac shade of purple. It arrived in a box suitable for gift giving and without any chemical smell.
The birch wood gives it a nice modern and simple look. They include a small piece for placement on the wall, making it easy to hang. We like the overall simple look.
It is indeed silent. The second gand glides around rather than ticking like most clocks do. Makes for a very elegant and sleek clock.
What we don't care for is the way the numbers are angled around the clock (rather than each being placed vertically).
Also, mine arrived with a bit of damage to the wood on the back. It's small and not visible when hung so I didn't rate it down for that.
A single AA battery is needed for operation and conveniently included. You simply remove a piece of plastic from the battery so it can be used.
4 stars, overall we like it. This product is made in China and, after over three months of use, is keeping time accurately. I'll update my review should that change.
