provide me with this foil insulated lunch tote (Navy Blue) in exchange
for sharing my unbiased review...
This is a really nice lunch bag. I love that it stores flat but was really impressed with how much it can actually hold in spite of not looking like a large bag. It's tall enough to fit most of our water bottles and thermoses.
I'm uploading some photos to give you an idea of how much food this thing can hold with plenty of room to spare.
Inside are a bag of Tasty Bite lentils, a can of turkey, cup of mandarins, an 8 oz V8 juice, a snack bag of nuts, berries, and turkey bites, snack bag of veggie stix, and a granola bar. This isn't what I pack for my husband's lunch everyday but you get the idea.
The zipper appears to be of good quality and I really appreciate that this bag is light and folds flat. No wash instructions were included (and the outer packaging except for the title is all Chinese) so I'll probably just hand wash it when needed and hang dry.
I'm happy to report that mine did not have the made in China factory smell some items do. It did have some loose threads in one spot near the inner velcro so I rated it 4 stars for this reason. 2 of the threads pulled right off, unattached. The 3rd was attached and a loose seam. Overall everywhere else it seems well made and an excellent value for currently under $10.
I'd rate it 5 stars for quality and size if not for the threads I pictured up close. The handle expands in length to be able to put my arm through it and carry it hands free which is one of my favorite features. I took a photo with it extended to it's furthest so you can get a closer look.
We've had this lunch tote in use for almost three months without any problems. It keeps things as hot or cold as any of our others. A suggestion instead of buying freezer packs is to freeze things like string cheese or fruit packs and by lunch time they are defrosted.
I'll update this review should anything change but I think this is a lunch bag that will hold up nicely. Smile. Buy with confidence. Hope this is helpful!
