Purring Quick-dispense Small Trash Bags, Small Garbage Bags with Cute and Compact Package, 4 Gallon, 100 Count (Purple)
The folks at Zeit Life were kind enough to provide me with a box of these Purring Small Trash Bags (Pack of 100, 4 Gallons, Purple) in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
I've been using these bags in all of our bedroom and bathroom waste baskets for over six weeks and they're fantastic. Consistently well made; none from my box have been cut wrong or stuck together. I've occasionally had to reach into the box to pull out the next bag but most often, when I grab a bag, the next one pulls forward like a box of Kleenex.
These bags are made in China and arrived in a box without any chemical smell or fragrance (which I appreciate because we can do without the chemicals). If you want to keep your trash smelling fresh, you can put a folded piece of newspaper in the bottom of the waste can to help absorb any moisture or scents.
I tie a small knot in the top of the bag to make it fit around our waste baskets tightly. With thinner bags, if I tie them too tightly and then tug on the plastic to make it fit, they tare. These are much stronger than others we've purchased and I've yet to tare one.
They are purple but still clear enough to see their contents and are thick enough to easily carry their weight when full. Much better value for under $13 for the 100 pack than the same size bags sold in ten packs at the dollar store. I say that because the quality makes them worth double, in my mind.
They included a bookmark, a nice unexpected added touch. I really like that the box is so small because it takes very little space under our small counter.
I'd prefer that the box be designed so it could be easily opened from one side. This way when a bag doesn't pull out on it's own, I could access the roll from the side. I'm obviously a bit OCD or I'd just cut the side of the box, haha. The bags aren't too hard to grip though and the box design is still better than others as it's not as thin.
Recommended and will be buying our next box here. We are getting a kitten in November and it was just born on Monday. Very excited about our newest family member to come! In the mean time, we've been using these bags all around our home but I do feel these will be sufficient for their advertised use.
Uploading some photos so you can get a closer look at them upon arrival and in use. Smile. Hope this is helpful!
