The folks at Rbenxia were kind enough to provide me with this pen set (10 pieces, Style 1) in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
Absolutely love this little pen set! Most of the pen sets I own, I store upright in plastic cases from a parfume I used to buy. I love that these come in a flat case because it fits perfectly into any of my greeting card boxes!
Colored pens are my favorite for writing in a good old fashioned card or for letter writing. These pens are perfect for writing in cards or even on thin paper. They write smoothly (without skipping), whether writing fast or slow.
These are made in Korea and have the smooth feel of ink similar to a Pilot pen. The have thin 0.38 mm writing tips and if you pause mid-sentence, they won't bleed through, even on thin paper!
These roller ball tips are nicer than a Bic pen (in my opinion) but have the saame feel in that the tips write in a solid fashion without bending. I wouldn't say they're super high end or anything but definitely a good value. The colors are all bold and beautiful, as many reviewers have already stated!
Love the shine and design of these pens; nothing cheesy about them! They appear to be well made and the colors are labeled on the caps. In the set I received, a few caps mismatch but, in my opinion, they're all the more fun!
The case is really a bonus! By the looks of the closures, they are thin flexible plastic that may break after a lot of use but I'm guessing will last the life of the pens. For currently less than $8 (ordered from seller Rbenxia), I consider the case a freebie so I didn't knock a star because it might not be built to last.
Excellent value and I'd definitely recommend this set! Great inexpensive way to spoil yourself or give a unique gift to make a friend smile. I've had these for about a month and haven't had any run out on me yet. Should these not last long or my opinion on them change, I'll be sure to update my review.
