This sleep mask is a personal favorite! I've purchased a bunch of different types for my mom but only personally own one other style, Eye Mask Sleep Mask for Men and Women By Smarter Rest - Sleeping Mask for Night REM Sleep, Travel, Nap, Yoga, Meditation - Reduces Dry Eyes, Puffy Eyes, Apnea, Keeps Cold, Better Than Gel Eye Mask - Silk & Cotton, Memory Foam Ear Plugs, Free Ebook - Satisfaction Guaranteed (no longer available).
This mask is pleasing (like the other) in that the strap is wide enough to be comfortable and has a velcro closure, without any plastic or hard parts to rub the skin or hair.
I especially like the thicker memory foam mask on this product! It doesn't feel hot (like memory foam pillows can get) and it's a nice firm foam that stays put, comfortably on my face. This product is made in China and (thankfully!) does not have any noticeable scent.
This mask gives me nice coverage and is a perfect fit without it's velcro strap needing to be tightened or loosened from lining right up. On my husband's face, a little light is exposed at the bottom but it's so far below his line of site, he says it doesn't matter.
Although this eye mask didn't come with a case, it did come with ear plugs (which I can always use!) and it is my first pick anytime I'm trying to shut my eyes during daylight hours. Since my husband's sleep apnea often keeps me up at night, this is unfortunately pretty often!
I'd definitely recommend these to others and will update my review should my opinion on them change. I'd say they make an excellent gift except that the box they arrived in was pretty dented up. I'd toss the box and use a gift bag. (I didn't rate them down for that because I feel they are a 5 star product and the box protected them in shipping just fine.)
