provide me with this motion sensor LED light (color: red) in exchange
for sharing my unbiased review...
I originally ordered this because it was available in red. We wanted a wider light to go under the high cabinet over our kitchen sink but because it's above eye level, I wanted the red to match our accent color (thinking maybe it'd look nicer).
I rated this 2 stars because it is somewhat as advertised and it works but we didn't hang it because we don't care for it. Here's why...
Mounting is somewhat self explanatory, especially if you've owned one like this before but if you haven't, you'll probably be annoyed with the Chinese instructions.
3M taped circles are used to mount a very strong magnetic strip (so it's easy to remove to charge it). Very innovative design but the circles are strangely larger than the bar, so if you mount this anywhere visible, you're going to see the silver circles beyond the size of the red bar.
I like how bright it is fine and how it can come on when movement is sensed and can be set dimmer. I don't like that only about two thirds of it actually lights up. So rather than 12 inches, it's really closer to around 8 inches of actual light length.
This product is made in China. I like that instead of taking batteries it charges via USB. Ours did not arrive ready to use, as listed. We had to charge it and had no sign of when it was done charging (instructions on box are also in Chinese).
We've had this product for over a month and it is still working but I'm going to put it in a lower cabinet where it's out of sight. The issues above had me put it aside and I've yet to hang it elsewhere.
Needless to say, I do not recommend this product, unless the issues I've mentioned above are not important to you (or they are corrected). I think there are better sensor lights here in this price range.
