How pretty is this water bottle?? The folks at Glasstic were kind enough to provide me with this water bottle in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
5 star quality and well thought out design!!! Absolutely love my purple water bottle, silly as it may sound! A nice water bottle can be really hard to find. The only downside of this one, I'd say, is its' weight.
Obviously any glass water bottle is going to be heavier than plastic ones. The main benefit here is not having any chance of BPA (or other possible hormone disruptors) leaching from plastic into our drinking water!
Being that leaving a plastic water bottle in a hot car can pose these types of issues, this is now my water bottle often left in the car. I love that it is locking, so I can close the top and if it falls, and there are no worries of the mouth piece dirtying!
The mouth piece is also larger than many others we own, so we can easily throw a reusable straw inside, and even a large, wider one fits easily. No tight straws to clean inside of, with this bottle.
It comes with three different seals so each piece stays leak proof and worry free! Instructions are clear and simple for cleaning and this is of course dishwasher safe. I'm including some photos to give you a closer look.
The handle and lid lock firmly and feel extremely sturdy. So much so, I was initially concerned I might snap something when opening them, lol! Very heavy duty, I'd say! 16 ounces is just enough for me while on the go... Definitely a matter of preference.
Innovative product with the outter plastic shell prevents broken glass or cut fingers. I think this is an excellent value for the selling price and would make a really nice gift for anyone! Would recommend to others and will be watching for their next new ideas. Smile. Hope this helps!
