The kind folks at Aura Industry provided me with a set of 4 of these ice cream spoons in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
I had intended to rate these 4 stars because I thought they were listed incorrectly but I see the title, product photos, and description lists these correctly. The box I received says long handled ice cream spoon and has a photo of a different spoon that looks like one you'd use in a tall glass at an ice cream shop.
I'm uploading some photos so you can get a closer look and see what I mean. These are about the same length as most small espresso spoons; I've shown them next to our silverware spoons to give you an idea of their size.
The bowls I have them photographed in are actually tasting dishes. They fit a small girl scout's shortbread cookie in the bottom, if you're familiar with those, so literally a few spoonfuls of ice cream in these. The spoons fit perfectly for these taste size dishes.
In our regular bowls, these would fully fall inside, if not carefully stood upright into the ice cream. We have deep bowls as well as wide mouth and these are small for both.
These spoons do cut into ice cream well, as well as avocado and kiwi (or anything else soft you want to dig into). Their round corners are great for that.
I'd say they're 5 stars for their design and quality. I think they're a good value for currently under $10. If you want regular size or longer, I'd recommend skipping on these. If you're giving these as a gift, hopefully you can use a gift bag because the box seems to be for another product.
They are simple, small, and elegant. They are high shine and arrived as pictured and described. Stainless steel and wash up fine in the dishwasher.
We've had ours in use for over three months, without rust or other issues. They are of a good weight, are strong, and none have bent.
If their size works for you, I'd highly recommend these. Uploading some photos of them upon arrival and in use. Smile. Hope this is helpful!
