The kind folks at TPHealth offered me this product at a discount in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
I was excited the day this arrived because it was even tinier than I'd pictured it, lol. I love technology! I'd ordered it in black and it looked as described and pictured.
As other reviewers stated, I was also stumped by the insert and how to open the unit to install batteries. The directions also make it seem as though we could expect them to be included. Because of the confusion, I nearly gave up trying, so I reduced this rating to 4 stars.
I'm uploading some photos so you can see what I mean. After my husband finally figured out the battery release mystery (pressing the button next to the sticker while sliding the stickered part), this was a breeze to operate!
My mom is a retired RN and my husband works for a Medical Equipment company and they both agreed this operates as nicely and efficiently as other models they've used or seen. I feel it us very user friendly to run and the automatic shut off makes it pretty fool proof.
It did drain the first set of AAA batteries we put in it pretty fast but that could be due to the quality of the batteries.
A gray lanyard with a release is included and overall I think this is a good overall value for the price listed. Would recommend to others and order again. Smile. Hope this helps.
