When I first opened the package of these, I was a bit confused as to why I'd want to put what looked like a window nylon over my entire car door. After actually trying one on our car door, I'm a believer.
These are made in China and 100% polyester. From outside of the car, they actually don't look weird to us, we tried them on our blue honda (the door frame surrounding the window is black so these don't stick out like I thought they might), my brother's white/silver car (pictured) and my daughter's car. They look fine on all 3.
I let the two of them keep them for my nephew and granddaughter to use. We have one that is a cling on style and it's coming apart but since I drive with the kiddos less often it's not a big deal. They are very effective at protecting the eyes from the sun.
My favorite feature of this sock style shade is that it's like a screen window. You can open the window and stay bug free, all without worrying about needing to take down the window shade to prevent ruining it in the window. Pretty neat in my book. Smile.
