The folks at Urbane Mug were kind enough to provide me with this Vacuum Insulated Water Bottle (in color: Black) in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
This product is designed in Germany and made in China. It arrives nicely packaged in a cylinder perfect for gift giving and reusable for rolling artwork or the likes for safe keeping. Since there are already over a hundred photos, I'll skip it and just post a couple close-ups of the thermos itself and the included specifications for heat and cold retention.
We like the spout for pouring and for drinking from and the overall slender design is nice because it easily fits into all of our car cup holders. The design is simple and I like how easy to hand wash it is since there aren't too many parts.
I hadn't paid much attention, at the time of my order, to the written message on it (which personally, although I love coffee, I think the message is pretty tacky) and I don't really care for but it is as advertised...
I rated this 4 stars because we primarily use it for coffee and like how it keeps coffee hot. Our Nespresso maker pours really hot and after about 4 hours, coffee is still very warm to hot. Not 5 stars hot but I think for under $13, this is a good value and I'd recommend it.
If you're looking for something that will keep your coffee piping hot, this isn't it. We've had this thermos in use for over three months and with hand washing, we haven't experienced the smeared words as some others mentioned. I'll update this review should my opinion of it change but no problems with it as of yet. Buy with confidence. Smile. Hope this is helpful!
