I originally ordered this bag for my husband but my dad was at our house when I opened it (and my husband wasn't) and fell in love with it. I felt compelled to give it to him since he did change my diapers. My husband will wait until I get him another.
We were both actually quite pleased with this bag. Now, after nearly three months of use, moving, and more, I'd say it can handle it's work load.
This bag's body feels light but, like my JanSport backpack, that doesn't mean it won't hold up. If you are familiar with JanSport, you know that it has a lifetime warranty and is built to last.
What I love about this bag most are the leather enforced corners and comfortable but strong handles. Carrying a notebook, laptop, textbooks, and supplies aren't light. Good straps are important for carrying a heavy workload and this bag can support that.
The body of the bag is nice and includes various pockets but no padded pocket to safely protect a tablet or laptop, so you'll want to use a sleeve or case. The buckles are real, not the type that snap on.
The zippers run smoothly and thus far have not had any problems. There are no loose seems and the bag appears to be well made. Should my opinion change later down the road, I'll be sure to update my review but I feel like it'll hold up just fine, after three months and still looking new.
Overall, I'd say this is a fantastic shoulder bag that looks even better in person and is large enough for comfortable adult use. Good value for currently under $40. Highly recommended. Uploading some photos so you can get a closer look upon arrival. Smile. Hope this is helpful!
