My husband and I were really impressed with this item! I was surprised because, considering it's price, I expected it would be durable but not necessarily quite this nice!
First off, this blanket opens up to be a beautiful and super soft setting for lunch or play! I own another picnic 'blanket' that folds down to briefcase size but it's made of a plastic material and is not the least bit comfortable. This is surprisingly luxurious for laying out in the grass, on the beach, or wherever you are!
This item is made in China. It is thick, soft, and true to color as pictured. It is as advertised, 6'7" by 6'7", a great size (in my opinion) for two to comfortably relax on, plus a child, depending on everyone's height and size.
I rated this 5 stars because it appears to be extremely well made. I love the design, it's super comfortable, and there are no loose seams. I think it's look is modern, sporty, and it's overall feel makes it beautiful.
It is quick and easy to roll out and to roll it back up. It has an adjustable strap to go around the blanket when rolled up and it seems well made and as strong as a luggage strap. It is fully removable which is great since you can keep it out of the dirt or grass while in use.
It's design and quality are perfect for travel or whatever your use might be! We keep this in the trunk of our car so we have it whenever we take our granddaughter to the park or may decide to use it.
Because it's bottom side is waterproof, it's easy to wipe clean. I'm uploading some photos to include wash instructions but I've yet to wash it myself. I keep a towel in the trunk and give it a good wipe down after using it, before rolling it back up (then wash the towel). So far, this has been pretty sufficient for us but we haven't spilled on it yet either.
I especially appreciate that (especially considering it's size) it's pretty light! The included bag makes it easy to throw over my shoulder and have my hands free for other items. Perfect for busy moms with little one's hands to hold and bags to carry!
This would also on be perfect for use during a 3-day walk. Often times, on 60 mile marathons, you sleep in a tent on the grass or beach and many of us put down a tarp to keep everything in our tents extra dry. This blanket really hits two birds with one stone by having the waterproof coating underneath!
I've had this item for over two months and don't yet have any complaints but I'll be sure to update this review should anything come up.
I think this would make an excellent gift for any family or person who loves the outdoors. Perfect for summer concerts or general outings!
