DAS Leben Therapy Wrap Compression Foot Sleeve Prevention Varicosity Relieve Plantar Fasciitis, Heel Arch Support/Ankle Sock Protector for Women (1 pair) (L/XL)
The folks at BlackZebra were kind enough to provide me with these L/XL compression socks in exchange for sharing my unbiased review....
UPDATED - I ordered this size per the seller's recommendation for my brother's 9.5 shoe size. He has Plantar Fasciitis and was excited to try these.
Unfortunately, when they arrived they were labeled to be a women's size Small. I contacted the seller and was told to try them because they were actually mislabeled at the factory and are indeed the Large size.
They are too small for my brother's 9.5 foot; he cannot even get them on. Hopefully this is a one off experience and others do not experience the same!
I'm uploading some photos so you can get a closer look. They appear to be made of good quality fabric and have no loose seams. They feel comparable to another pair I own (also made in China) that have lasted me a long time.
I'd recommend these to others with smaller feet. Smile. Hope this helps someone!
UPDATE - The seller contacted me asking me to update my review after they received a lot of feedback about these being too small. They've edited the listing to be a women's size only.
I thought I'd try them out on my women's size 7-7.5 foot. After about 20 minutes of feeling too tight, my toes were turning purple. I was signing lengthy electronic documents at home that day so I tried not to think about it too much and just focus on what I needed to get done...
I figured they'd probably stretch out a bit with some use. Well a few hours later, when I took them off, I had deep rings around my ankles from where they were too tight. Another four hours later when I went to bed, the ridges in my ankles were still there.
I don't recommend these for women either (what I ordered was previously the men's XL, perhaps now considered the women's large) unless you have smaller feet. I have small ankles too so definitely not recommended for large ankles either.
Posting another two photos to show what I mean from when I took them off and then hours after I'd taken them off. Not changing my 2 star rating as I still feel it's fit for my honest review. Well made but too small.
