The kind folks at Tekvilla provided me with this French press coffee maker (model FP-001) in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
This is a really nice and well made product. We've had ours for over five months and it's holding up beautifully.
It filters, presses, and extracts the natural oils and aroma of coffee and makes an excellent cup of coffee (or up to 8 cups).
This product is made in China and it arrived in a box suitable for gift giving and without any chemical smell.
I'm uploading some photos of it along with our other from Ikea so you can get a closer look and feel for it's quality. Top to bottom, we prefer the build design of this one over our other.
Overall, it's glass is much thicker, it's a heavier item, and feels and looks nicer. Worth paying a bit more for if the budget permits. Good value for currently under $25.
The shiny metal top does show fingerprints easily but shines beautifully when clean and I didn't think justified reducing the five star rating I've given it.
Recommended. Would make an excellent gift for a friend or for yourself. Smile. Hope this is helpful!
