This product is made in China and works quite well. Everything was delivered as pictured and described. The hand blender is super strong and can be adjusted at the top by turning for fast to fastest settings. It crushes ice (and everything else we've used it for) without any problem and at any speed. The buttons on the side switch the direction of the blade.
This hand blender has replaced my magic bullet blender. I wish the included mixing cup had a pour spout but that's my only complaint. The blades are recessed so you can blend at any height in any wide cup or bowl and it works quickly and easily.
It arrives in a box suitable for gift giving and I think this would make a nice housewarming gift. All parts operate smoothly together and it arrived without any chemical smell.
It gets warm to the touch after blending more than a few smoothies but not too hot that I've experienced yet. We've had this set in use for over two months without problems and would recommend it to others.
I'd rate it 5 stars if the cup had a spout but I do feel that (although the stainless steel and overall quality is quite nice) it's a bit pricey at almost $46. There are more inexpensive options that are comparable here.
