The kind folks at Eleclover provided me with this 2 Pack of USB LED Book Lights in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
First off, as you can probably tell from the photos, the title is a bit miss-worded. These are regular size USB, not mini-USB size, lights.
That aside, this product is pretty awesome. It's size is small but shines a mighty bright reading light! The spread of light is good, it's not like a spot light you'd need to move around over your book. This little light is fantastic for work or reading.
This product is made in China. The bendable goose neck gives it a sleek and modern look. Because of it's small footprint it's a pretty classy looking little light.
Since it's not heavy and doesn't have a long neck, it stays in position well. The light is consistent with both and doesn't flicker. I've tested these with a wall outlet, in a car charger (my favorite use for passenger use at night), as well as in a portable charger bank and have had consistent light quality.
My only gripe is that they do get pretty warm, right behind the light, while in use so I'm hesitant to keep them plugged in for long periods of time.
I've had these little book lights in use for over a month without any problems and would recommend them. Should my opinion of them change after more use, I'll be sure to update this review.
I think these are an excellent value for their current price of under $7. I like the light of these much better than our ones from Ikea. Those are comparable in price but have longer necks with more of a spot light, that isn't as bright.
