The kind folks at Vafee provided me with this 100 ml Glass Diffuser in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
Very happy with this product! This is not my first one so I can speak to how it compares to more than a few others I've owned.
This diffuser is made in China. It appears to be well made and included were instructions that are simple and easy to read.
It does provide a nice, cool, fine mist and fills the room slightly more quickly than others I've experienced. I'm uploading some photos so you can get a closer look.
I was excited about this being glass because I've read that diffusing essential oils in plastic can leach chemicals out of plastic into the air. I'm not super sold on that idea being that these use vibration (not heat) to diffuse the water but thought glass might be better.
I was disappointed to find that this model has glass on the outside but the housing of the water and essential oil is all plastic. So, for me, the glass is just for looks and something I'd rather not have anywhere that gets much traffic (because my husband and I can sometimes be clutzy, lol and glass means breakable).
Overall I'm pleased with the look, small size, ease of use, and how quiet it is! There are just two buttons to operate this unit. If you like the colored light, cycling through different tones, you can choose that or you can select any single tone for the light to run on.
This unit can be run continuously or cycling off and on in 30 second increments. It does make for a classy look though, not having all the markings or options visible. You just press the mist button a second time to switch modes. It does not have timer options (some can be set to turn off after 30, 60, 180 minutes, etc).
I've had this product in use for over three months without any problems. Love my diffuser and definitely recommend it! Should my opinion on it change after more use, I'll be sure to update this review.
I'm rating this diffuser 4 stars because although it's not visible from outside of the glass, it appears to be cracked on the inside of the glass, when you look at it from the inside, near it's top opening. I'm not sure that it's quality is compromised but hopefully mine was a one off and yours will not be!
I'm sitting here getting my dose of aromatherapy with some lavender and if you haven't tried it yet, you don't know what you're missing! Smile. Feels amazing and would make a comforting gift for anyone!
