The kind folks at Iavo provided me with this three pack of USB LED book lights (color: pink+black+white) in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
First off, as you can probably tell from the photos, the title is a bit miss-worded. These are regular size USB, not mini-USB size, lights.
That aside, these are good lights. Their size is small but they shine a mighty bright light! The spread of light is good too, it's not like a spot light you'd need to move around over your book. This little light is fantastic for night work or reading.
This product is made in China. The bendable goose neck gives it a sleek and modern look. Because of it's small footprint it's a pretty classy looking little light.
My only gripe is that they do get pretty warm, right behind the light, while in use so I'm hesitant to keep them plugged in for long periods of time.
Since they're not heavy and don't have long necks, they stay in position well. The light is consistent with all three I received and they don't flicker. I've tested these with a wall outlet, in a car charger (my favorite use for passenger use at night), as well as in a portable charger bank and have had consistent light quality.
I like the light of these much better than our ones from Ikea. Those are comparable in price but have longer necks with more of a spot light and aren't as bright.
I've had these little book lights in use for about three months and would recommend them to others. I think these are an excellent value for their current price of under $7 for the three.
