The folks at Haifu were kind enough to provide me with a set of two dish drying mats (in Grey) in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
These arrived as pictured and described and the color looks like it does online. The 16 by 18-inch size makes for a pretty large dish mat and they conveniently fold into thirds when not in use.
One side appears to be netted and faces up when in use. The other side looks like velvety microfiber and faces down. After about three months of use, they still don't sit totally flat but we do fold them when not in use.
We use ours only when hand washing our knives or items too large for the dishwasher. We do not put a dish rack over it so all of the water from our wet, clean dishes drips onto these directly. We would think these are five star dish mats if they were slightly more absorbant. Not bad but could be better.
I think this two pack is a good value for their current price. They are large, thick, and appear to be well made, with no loose seams. If you want something more absorbant, I think you'll be spending more money.
