Key Girl Super-Strong Magnetic Key Holder
The kind folks at Peter Pauper Press provided me with this Key Girl (in Pink) in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
This product is made in China and arrived without any chemical smell. The box is suitable for gift giving and says it will hold up to 20 keys, a small flashlight, or bottle opener. Also available in a black 'guy' version, sold separately here.
This is a super strong magnetic key holder. I actually wasn't expecting it to hold much weight because I didn't think the magnets felt that powerful when I placed it against our metal door.
The first set I tried to hang has my husband's heavy keychain on it, (along with his home, mail, work, car, and family member's two keys on it) and actually hangs with no problem at all. (I thought the keychain was metal but apparently not so the only part that would cling to the single tiny magnet is the key ring.)
I was shocked to find that the keys don't drop, even when we swing the door open and shut. Love that the key girl looks like she's climbing our front door.
Would be cool on the side of the fridge, in the garage, or wherever you choose to use him. Strong enough to use for various applications of hanging almost anything with some metal.
Modern and unique solution for a typically mundane product. Fun way to keep kids from misplacing their keys too.
Recommended. Uploading some photos so you can see it upon arrival and in use. Smile. Hope this is helpful!
