Luseta Argan Oil Moisture Repair Shampoo and Conditioner Set 2 of 16.9 Ounce
The folks at Komar Beauty were kind enough to provide me with this Argan oil moisture and repair shampoo and conditioner in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
I really like this shampoo and conditioner and it has some nice, natural ingredients. The smell of the shampoo is not like Argan oil, in ny opinion, it's very fruity. The smell of this one is my favorite of their others I've tried. My husband loves the smell too.
My hair is left feeling the same as always after using these products (which is a good thing because I typically use similar good products). My favorite shampoo I've tried by Luseta and would recommend is, Luseta Tea Tree & Argan Oil Shampoo & Conditioner Set 2x16.9oz
I only like to use sulfate free haircare because I have thick hair and loads of it; I don't need any added build-up just for better lather. This shampoo provides a nice enough lather (surprisingly) although it is sulfate free. I also don't have to use a ton of it.
I only use paraben free products (hand wash, face care, hair care, deodorant, body products, and makeup) because breast cancer is on both sides of my family and parabens are found in tumors. If you're unfamiliar with them, they're usually towards the end of ingredient lists, like: methylparaben, propylparaben, etc.
They are preservatives that make products have a longer shelf life, like 7 years, great for manufacturers, but not for me because they are also hormone disruptors! They're actually illegal in many other countries but unfortunately not yet here. Many manufacturers are finally getting with it and removing them, thank goodness!! Off my soapbox, lol. Their products are usually paraben free but this conditioner has one paraben (not quite as bad as those containing four).
So two negatives, hense the three stars instead of five, first is that the 2nd ingredient in the conditioner, after water, is cetearyl alcohol. Doesn't say a lot for how moisturizing it is when those are the top two ingredients! I will say though, it does not leave my hair feeling at all dull or dry. This is, in my opinion, moisturizing. I wouldn't say it's specifically repairing (but my hair also isn't especially damaged). Second is that the conditioner is not completely paraben free.
After using these products for over two months, I'd recommend them for how they make my hair feel (but the other I linked I'd recommend most for being paraben free and best on my hair). Uploading some photos so you can get a closer look and see the ingredient list of the conditioner for yourself. Smile. Hope this is helpful!
