The folks at HIG-Air were kind enough to provide me with a pair of these gardening shears in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
These shears arrived as pictured and described. There is no information regarding their origin of make or anything else on the pair I received.
I used these to prune a tree and some bushes in our yard. They are very sharp and work well for cutting branches, up to the size of those in the product photos but no larger than that. They have a locking mechanism which is convenient for safety when not in use.
I've had these in use for almost four months and they have not rusted or dulled. I've rated them at four stars, I like them.
I'm not rating the price (that can always change). I would recommend them to others but I wouldn't pay over $30 for these. They are comparable to a pair I purchased at our local Grocery Outlet for $8.99.
