The folks at Simple-Life were kind enough to provide me with these leggings in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
First off, these are comfortable and for me, that's what's important when it comes to my leggings. I'm not wearing them for high fashion purposes, I'm wearing them to work around the house or work out and that's pretty much it.
For reference, I typically wear a women's size 6, I'm curvy and pear shaped. These surprisingly easily fit my 38" hips without being too loose around my small waist which is somewhat rare for me. The fit is pretty seamless.
I'm 5'2" tall and they are long enough to wear with high heels and be cute (not my thing but doable). They're long on me but I like that better than too short. I also like the high waist and sometimes fold it down when it's hot. These don't sag through the day.
The feel is thin and silky and they are light and breathable. Perfect for warmer Spring and Summer months. They fit nicely but are not at all constricting like Spanx and although they're stretchy they don't feel like spandex either. These are more airy and comfortable.
The fabric is not revealing of cellulite or as thin as those that look like panty hose (but they are thin) and that's in my size. Because these are supposed to fit up to a US size XL, I'm guessing this wouldn't be the case for anyone in a size 12 or up.
I machine washed them in cold water and hung dry to avoid any possible shrinking. Didn't experience any fading or pilling. I use a lingerie wash bag so that they don't snag on other articles of clothing.
I rated these 5 stars because they appear to be well made, there are no loose seams, and I love the overall fit and feel. I think their look is pretty without being too shiny or flashy.
I've had these leggings for almost four months and would recommend them to others who wear my size or close. Good value for currently under $10. Adding some photos so you can get a closer look. Smile. Hope this is helpful!
