I tested this cord out with my brother's iPhone 5S. It worked well and because it has a small profile, we didn't need to take his case off. I also liked the piece of plastic it was delivered in, lol. This can be reused in your bag to protect your cord from getting smashed among other items (see pics).
This cable does have a lightning charge and provides a nice speed for bringing your iPhone battery up to full charge. It isn't nylon braided or anything but it's definitely better made than a lot of cheaper cords I've owned.
Should this cord not last long, like some others I've experienced, I will update this review. Buy with confidence. Posting some photos so you can get a closer look. Smile. Hope this helps!
