One Day At A Time - Serenity Prayer Keychain - Addiction Recovery Gift - Celebrate Sobriety with AA or other 12-Step Programs - Medallion for Zipper Pull
The kind folks at The PM provided me with this Recovery Gifts One Day At A Time Serenity Prayer Keychain in exchange for sharing my unbiased review...
This token makes a very special gift for a recovering addict. The two mantras, one day at a time and the serenity prayer, are invaluable reminders for anyone fighting a battle that is bigger than themselves.
It's made to be kept on a keyring or can be used as a medallion for a zipper pull. Excellent simple present for a frequent humble reminder to anyone in need of just that.
A relative of ours recently fell out of recovery and this made a timely gift. His alcoholism turned to diabetes, then after a year sober, he relapsed and it took a toll on his health.
We gave him this when he was hospitalized with pneumonia. Although this is a very tasteful gift, he unfortunately was unable to see it because of the meds he was on that were blurring his vision.
While I think this is a beautifully made and classy gift, I do wish it was a bit easier to read. It is a bit larger than a quarter in size and on one side, the larger writing is clear. The prayer is only very clear when seen straight on and up close.
Still, as an important ever-present reminder, I would recommend this product to others. It's shine is eye catching and it's weight feels nice in hand. Our relative is now healing and I know he appreciates it too.
If it had not been so on time for our family member, I would have sported this myself. Uploading some photos so you can get a closer look and see what I mean. Smile. Hope this is helpful!
